I think UK Domain Names typically drop 92 days from their renewal date, that's about all I "know"!

domainrecover dot co dot uk
Have been using them for a few years. No bidding, pay if you are successful.

@Durham_e wow, cheers! I'll do that. Have also backordered it via Pool dot com - didn't know they did .co.uks. One of them two should be able to grab that domain for me surely!

If possible acquire a backorder from the current registrar. This has worked best for me....
