[news.search.yahoo.com...]

(ICANN) is expected to give the go-ahead on Friday for the creation of a .X X X suffix for websites with Pron-ographic content, company officials indicated on Thursday.

I hope the next step is forcing pron to these extensions. Although I am not sure that would ever happen or is even possible to enforce.

allow websites with sexually explicit content to start using the suffix on a voluntary basis

It would make parental controls so much easier.

It's interesting that Icann (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is setting up a #*$!-only internet domain, where addresses will have the suffix #*$! rather than www.

well least we have the guardian to clear things up regarding the ridiculous x x x - some nice comments at the bottom

No one but the new regi$trar and ICAAN wants this. Sites are very well classified by software, just very few homes use them.
