Purchased domains fallen out of SERPS
I purched domains and after the transfer they are gone from the SERPS

I am new to this so I tried for the first time purchasing existing domain names. I bought 3. All had page rank and ranked with I searched for their title. For example if the domain was name-example.com and I searched for name example the site was one of the first results.
I bought them from Sedo and paid quite a lot for them. After I bought them, all 3 have dropped from Google for anything except their domain. So now they all only show up when I search for name-example.com.

Is this normal and will they return? I feel like I've been douped out of a lot of money.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What content is on the sites now?

How does it compare with the content they had when they were ranking?

Also, has something changed about their backlinks?

When they were ranking they only has the Sedo for sale page. Now they have content similar to what they had before they were for sale. I don't think anything much about their backlinks has changed.

When they were ranking they only has the Sedo for sale page.

Google is a domain registrar so maybe the for sale page and an update to the whois reset the domain to a new domain status. I don't know for sure but I am leery about buying any domains with parking page or for sale page because if I were Google that is what I would do.

There are also some scammers out there that try to sell keyword rich domains that rank with with no content except the "for sale" pages. I think the domains rank temporarily because they forward other domains to the for sale domain until the sale goes through.
