Hi, Im living in Bangladesh (Asia, near India). I got some question regarding buying domains for auction purpose. As far as I know- COM, NET, INFO, ORG, BIZ, NAME and TRAVEL are most popular gTLDs. Do i have any restriction to buy gTLDs as im others place, like-a_place_of_other_country.travel, other_city.biz etc.

And what about ccTLDs. Can I buy Europian cctlds whereas im an asian?

Tghe most likely restriction will involve transferring funds, if you buy across borders.

I know of no restriction by nationality on buying domain names; why not try and come back to discuss any problem?

BTW using_under_scores.com is the very.worst.com possibleway.com of choosing-a-domain-name.com - remove all the .coms to make better sense of that comment ;)

Some countries do require you to have some kind of link; the degree of link does depend on the country. In general, a good registrar will inform you of requirements you need to meet before taking your money.

Sorry I missed the bit about country tlds.

VVV's quite right as regards country tlds - some countries will expect local hosting, a few will expect residence if not nationality - France beats Australia in being, I think, one of the toughest; UK probably the easiest!
