Domain name trademark question
does this look safe enough to proceed?

I own a domain, AAAABBBB.INFO and the plural, AAAABBBBs.INFO. I believe the two words that make up the name to be a generic term, but am still a little uncertain as to what exactly constitutes a "generic term".

The .COM of the name is owned by AAAABBBB Inc., but this is in a very different sector to what I intend the website to focus on - does this negate most of the threat?

Furthermore, I did a simple trademark search on USPTO's site and found 9 live and 8 dead trademarks for the phrase. The live ones include such things as "YOUR AAAA BBBB!", "1-800-MY AAAA BBBB", "WE'RE YOUR AAAA BBBB", and several others, which appear to be from different sources. Furthermore, most (if not all) of them again seem to correspond to sectors that are unrelated to my own focus area in this case.

So, my question is: does this look safe enough to proceed with? Are there any other suggestions as to what I could do to check further? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'd be more specific, but not sure if specific domain names should be discussed?

I would stay away from it Kuyler. Imagine yourself the owner of the .com version. You might see your efforts as an infringement.
