You might also remember that Google is a domain registrar — although dormant, they have the ability to provide domain registration services. I will take this one step further and speculate that we could be getting ready to see a domain management service from Google. |

Looks like Google is preparing for this as they have registered some weired domain names mentioned in this story.

Anyone with an online business would do well to keep one eye out for signs that the 8,000 pound gorilla might be looking to feed in their part of the wired jungle. Domain registrations are one of the clues as are Google's patent filings.
