Dear Members,
i am seriously planing to build a directory listing web site. [PHPlink Directory] i think they are the best at present. [if you any one else pls share].
What do you think it is worth to spend money on this project ?
i knew now days it is not much worth in SEO to get a link from a directory listing web site but people / companies still submitting there web site to directories.
also i have estimated the setup cost to me around $200/- which is not bad.
please please advise!

I've used phpmydirectory previously and they were very good with good customer service too! Check them out

My ability to a) deal with risk/loss; and, b) recoup my investment(s) (in a time frame) usually dictates my investment strategy.
Can you afford to lose $200 plus the value of the time and effort?
On what basis are you making this decision? Lots of research? Detailed knowledge?
Article directories had their "time in the sun" but, from what I'm aware of, article directories are now commonly known for "problems>benefit" - such as duplicate content issues, low/no value OBLs, low traffic, low contextual ad revenue due to quality issues, etc. So why build one now? What will you do different? Better? How so?

hi,
there are many directory in the whole world and the online business classified directory are also present but it is depend on the city or state which you are belong,like we belong to india so Bhopal business directory is the best.
