Submitting Website to Directories
Will it hurt to submit to directories that aren't focused on the same theme?

Will it hurt your Website's SERP if you submit your site to a lot of NOT-THEME-RELATED Directories?

Thx...

If your site is about restaurants and you're submitting it to a lot of insurance, medicine, or bicycling directories you can look forward to being rejected a lot. Plus you may confuse a search engine about what your site is about, or tip it off that you're doing something fishy.

Generally more links is more better, and the occasional one in an odd place isn't a problem. But don't go making a pattern of it.
