I have a second, new website (real estate related) and have been submitting my site to various directories seeking backward links. Other than the biggies...BOTW, RELibrary, Reals.com, Ired, Relocate2Here.....does anyone know of others that I should consider joining? Thanks!

| Be careful, you are playing a dangerous game with your website. Look more closely at the links they say are pointing to your website. Submitting to various directories seeking backward links will send your site backwards indeed. You might find that not one points to your website, but claims via a status code, that your website belongs to them and your site is a temporary URL of theirs. If they are good links, let me know please, I too will follow your lead.

I have had great success with Yahoo, Business.com, and a few others. You won't get much traffic from the directory itself, but the inbound link is generally worth the price.
