Hello guys,

For my tempory assignment in the current company I have to make a database for use within Matlab&Simulink programm.

It will consist out of several electrical motors, pump etc.
For example 1 motor will exist out of +- 4 culomns and 25 rows.
I think I will have around 25 motors, pump etc.
I have no further information whether the database will be larger after my time here.
The database will need to match pumps and motors when requested by several properties and then be imported into Matlab/Simulink.

I was thinking about mysql but my coordinator was more thinking like access. Now I heared that access is a bit difficult to learn in a short time. (I'm here 5 months and need to make the database together with some matlab stuff)
I was wondering if mysql is a good solution or should I go for access?

Any other advice/programm is more then welcome!
