Hi there

I already success installed SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2 on widnows web server 2008 as [microsoft.com...] mentioned.

But my problem is, when I try install the standard editon on sql server 2005, except the workstation components, all other components are gray and unselectable.

Does anyone know how can I install the standard version on server 2008.

Thank you sosoosososososo much

Eric

Sorry, I made a mistake, the sql server 2005 I am trying to install is not standard version, is enterprise version. As microsoft said, enterprise version cannot install on 2008.

However, my new question is:

How can I install standard version by the enterprise version package, is there anyway to degrade the install package?
