CSS Counter Styles Level 3 [w3.org] (Last Call, July 18)
This module introduces the '@counter-style' rule, which allows authors to define their own custom counter styles for use with CSS list-marker and generated-content counters.

I totally missed this one when it was first published. I'm impressed by most of the recent work put forth by the CSS working group. Centralized list markers are a good thing, especially as thoroughly implemented as this appears to be.
