moz-background image taking longer to load

I've got a button at the end of a search bar with moz-background to curve the corners of the image to it looks like it's part of the bar and not a separate image... the website it love-rugs (search bar up the top right).

Whenever the page loads it takes a few seconds for this image to appear and render correctly. Also whenever I refresh the page everything else renders virtually instantly but this always takes a few seconds to appear.

Any ideas why this is happening or how to make it load the same as everything else?

Here's the code:

<li style="float:right; padding:4px 0px 12px 0px; margin-right:8px"> <form action="" method="get"><input name="keywords" id="searchBox" style="color: #7F7F7F; height:24px; line-height:22px; -moz-border-radius: 5px 0px 0px 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px; padding-left:2px; vertical-align:middle; width:200px; font-size:12px; border-right:none" onfocus="this.value='';" value="Search by Rug Ref# or Keyword(s)" size="27" maxlength="120" /><input type="hidden" name="action" value="search" /><input type="image" src="images/buttons/search-grey-small.png" alt="Search" title="Search" style="-moz-border-radius: 0px 5px 5px 0px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px; border-left:none;" onclick="if (keywords.value=='Search by Rug Ref# or Keyword(s)') keywords.value='';"/>
</form></li>

Think I've solved it... there wasn't a folder called buttons it was 'button'. When I changed it to button it loads faster. I didn't know it was possible for it to go in and look in other folders to find the image but that's the only thing I can think it was doing?
