Strange CSS issues with floating and one IE issue
CSS issues with floats and IE

I'm finishing up a site and I have two issues. One is both firefox and IE (PC Only) works fine in firefox mac. The other is IE only.

1) <snip>

On a pc you'll notice that the grid and list buttons in the toolbar are on separate lines. They aren't supposed to be. I have no idea why this is. I've tried margins, padding, widths, etc. Nothing seems to work. If I remove the float in firebug there is an inexplicable gap under each button. Probably the problem, but I don't know the cause.

Could someone please offer some insight?

2) <snip>

There is a fading image on the home screen there. In firefox there is a little overlay with a message. In IE it doesn't show up. Again, no idea why.

Please Help.

I don't even know where to begin dragging out the individual pieces of css and html here. I'm hoping someone can just firebug it.

Hi Metaforgebrandon,

Please read the forum charter Forum Charter [webmasterworld.com] As well as the Terms of service [webmasterworld.com] for WebmasterWorld.

It will explain how to post your (x)html and your css for review. Posting of url's aren't permitted, and most likely a mod will come along and snip out your links.
