sidebar vertical scaling problem
the sidebar doesn't stretch down to the footer

Hello everyone. I wonder if someone might be able to help me with my vertical scaling problem...

I have a sidebar that doesn't start at the top but I want it to stretch down to the bottom. I have tried adding height:100% to the sidebar div and all its parent divs but it still won't stretch down to the footer along with the content alongside it.

Are you using a strict DTD? Height is always a pain cross browser. Are all browsers doing this or just 1? Also make sure there is something in the container. Empty containers usually are wacky with width and height.

since URLs are not allow out here, (Most likely a moderator will remove that) I guess you better post some (relevant) code that still exhibits the problem and shows where you are at now.
