CSS Forum

layout slides a little bit to left between 2 different pages

Hello all,

I have a little annoying problem with CSS

Between these two pages, the layout always slides to left a little bit

Have any of you guys experience this problem?

PS: FYI, this only happens in Safari/WIN, it looks OK on firefox and IE

Thanks for your help

Are you talking about the same page, say home page, moving, or two different pages? Remember, the margins and padding of browser windows differ, though off hand I cannot remember but what amounts, so it is best to set html, body {margin: 0; padding: 0;} in your CSS to get a uniform start.

Its ok now, i dont know what i did, but it is fixed

Its two different pages, like for example from the index.html to contact .html

All the layout are the same, just different text

Anyone know what cause this problem?

Thank you

Could be something as simple as an <h> tag on one page and not another since different browser rendering the padding and margins differently. There is no justice here :)
