Hi All,

I’m working on a 3 column layout and was wondering what kind of links go on the left side of the main content (center) column and what kind of links go on the right side of the main content (center) column. In other words the left column would have links representing what and the right column would have links representing what?

Thank you.

One popular method would be your primary navigation links in the left, and perhaps ad links in the right. It really depends on your content though. Don't try to force the design if you don't have the content to warrant it.

Left column is usually your site's main navigation, right column can contain links to sub-topics and center column usually has content. Hope this helps.
