Joomla Passes 23 Million Downloads

Joomla has now passed 23 million downloads, and currently stands at just over 23.5 million, to be precise. It owns 10.3 percent of the CMS market share, and BuiltWith shows itís powering over 1.4 million websites.

Very popular indeed, a spider randomly traversing the web doesn't take long to find one of those 'big 3' CMS's.

With such a big target, that's why it is so important to keep the software absolutely up to date.
