WP Gallery function - How do I get gallery to show on ALL PAGES?
How do I get my gallery to show on top of all my pages/posts in WP

OK so i figured out how to use the wp gallery feature [gallery]
which works ok.. I guess. I want the gallery to show on
the top of every page in my entire wp site.

right now, without gallery, I am using the text/html widget
with a table that includes all the coding for the images I want to
show. the widget is placed "before each entry". This works ok
as it displays a faux gallery on every page as I want it to.
But when I need to switch photos around, add text, remove photos,
add photos etc it gets messy. Id rather use the [gallery] function
but as it is now the gallery only shows on the page/post that
it is on.

I dont want to manually add the gallery code and photos to every page as there are hundreds of them.
How do I get the gallery to show on the top of every page and post
in the site?

thanks in advance guys..

If I understand you correctly, you're using a plugin and then putting shortcode in a page or post to get the gallery to display there.

If you want it to show up on all pages, you'll need to edit your theme.

What Plug-in are your using? This one? [wordpress.org...]

actually its not a plug-in but the "built-in" [gallery] shortcode which creates a gallery with the images you select.

I want it to show on all pages. so what should I add/edit in my theme to effect that?

I'm not exactly sure as I've never used it. This might be useful to you: [codex.wordpress.org...]
