I would like to here ideas on a cms to use. I am looking into joomla. I have a very small site that needs to have the news and pictures updated by the owner of the site. I have built a basic cms but it requires the owner to have html which she does not.

If it matters, this is a CF8 site

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

>>CF8 - you mean Cold Fusion?

Do you want the current site integrate with the CMS, or is this a total redesign?

Anyway, for news and pictures you could use pretty much anything - Wordpress (perhaps with the $$ Revolution theme), Joomla, Drupal, ModX.

I don't know anything about Cold Fusion, but all of those are PHP-based. People here also recommend DotNetNuke(?) if you want a windows-based option.

All are free and open source.
