Which CMS is for me?

I want to build a site with a blog and forum.

People can join and post their articles on my blog, leave comments, or join forum.

I have three CMS to consider:

WP and BBpress

IP.B & IP.Blog

Which one is better?

"Better" is very subjective in this case, you are not looking for anything particularly complex.

Really your only option is to install all three and experiment, and then you can choose the one which seems the easiest and most adaptable for you.

If you want to use just blog and forum for your site - I suggest Drupal.

Blog in Joomla is not upto the mark. You can have a bridge to Wordpress however quite tricky. Forum component is quite good.

You may also bridges between the wordpress and other popular forum scripts such as SMF/Vbulletin.

All the best
