TV listsings content management

 6:47 pm on Mar 19, 2007 (gmt 0)

Are there any CMS's out there tailored for TV listings or does anyone know of any scripts or sites that offer your own TV listings?

Been looking all over the web and can't seem to find anything.

If you're going to be providing and entering the data then almost any CMS could work. You just need to customize the way it displays the data. TV listing data is no different from anything else.

If there was something custom I expect the price would be not much different to what it would cost to outsource it.

I took the OP's intention to be looking for a data feed of TV listings. Kind of like a news RSS feed or something except with TV listings.

Coopster, aye that is what I meant, ideally anyway.

What I'd like to be able to do is have a TV listings section on my entertainment site, that my users can click on a link to read a more in depth syopsis of the programme, and be reminded for certain shows. I could replicate such a system, but how do I get the TV listings data? Are their any companies that provide such data, or services. For the UK BTW.

I believe the BBC has RSS feeds from its site.
