| Can't upload with Joomla - permissions keep changing

I've just downloaded a new joomla template. I am coming to terms with using it but have discovered I can't upload files to certain folders. I have changed the permissions by ftp and the joomla control panel but they change right back. How can I upload to this folders if the permissions keep changing back? Thanks

That's an issue you'll have to bring up with your hosting company from the sounds of it. Changing a folder's permissions via FTP is pretty standard.
