Hi everybody, I'm seeing lot's of websites like ManualsDatabase.com [manualsdatabase.com] that sell various manuals for cars, computers, etc. online.

Just wanted to ask if there are any copyright issues with selling plain copies of an i.e. BMW Handbook? Or is it just a grey-zone and the manufacturers don't really care about it?

You may - not get caught. ;-)

Seriously, I could imagine that the car manufacturers do not care, but strictly speaking the manuals (be it from car manufacturers or any other company) are protected by copyright, so you MAY NOT re-publish them (and thus *I* wouldn't do this).
