Twitter is over capacity.
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.

I use the web UI for Twitter. These past few days have been filled with the above messages and that bot bloated whale!

Last month it was Average Response Times as high as 3031.7 ms.

This month ARTs are down below 1000ms but now the Fail Whale is mating.

How does an organization with the amount of funding they have fail to serve their audience 24/7 without interruption?

Maybe if Twitter would take some action in the Report for Spam area, those of us who make up the 10% of human generated content can have more bandwidth? Is that too much to ask? That Report for Spam functions just like Windows Error Reporting.

According to Twitter they are experiencing "site availability issues" and "additional latency errors"

Yesterday they were down for two 30-minute incidents.

How does it make you feel, not receiving tweets?

That Report for Spam functions just like Windows Error Reporting.

It feels like that, eh!

Day 4 of the Fail Whale mating season. They're rolling through in pods at the moment. Makes you wonder if they've been under attack this entire week? Something is up.

And yes, I can show you that the Report for Spam function does not work. It's a placebo function just like Windows Error Reporting. ;)

Numb. Just absolutely numb. I'm not really sure what to do now.
