If mack's idea didn't work you could use the Twitter's help system and ask there. They were helpful, if not quick, in responding when I had to contact them.

Twitter has occasional problems where the counts are wrong even though the message are showing, and other times where the count decreases a lot and the messages are not visible. This has happened several times in the past.

As you are a new Twitter user and as I cannot see your account, I'm going to take a guess and say you might be looking at it wrong. When you log into twitter you get taken too: [twitter.com...] Which will show tweets of people you follow, so if you are not following anyone you will get "no tweets" To see tweets you have made you need to click on "profile" and you will be taken to [twitter.com...] from here you will see the tweets you have made. Or as others have said, sometime Twitter makes mistakes :)

The problem has been resolved on its own! Even though this account is relatively new on Twitter, I have an existing Twitter account which has never give me any trouble. I think we can conclude that Twitter sometimes makes mistakes!
