I discovered an English site to make money with Twitter by inserting paid advertising.

There is also a page where You can enter a Twitter user name
and get an estimation of income per month.

I have 2 Twitter accounts, one for English, one for German.

$29.47 for 267 followers at my German version
$3.13 for 160 followers at my English version

But both accounts tweet about the same themes, only the language is different.

They could be looking at the relative value of your followers, and the number of their followers, and their propensity to RT, etc. I doubt it's just language. That's just a guess though.
