I wonder if it's a cookie problem.

That's not good. Assuming there is nothing dodgy about the page, I'd contact FB immediately.
By any chance does it have any trademark issues? FB will take down a fan page if it appears to be a TM violation and they are contacted by the rightful owner of that TM.

We had ours removed a year or so ago. It was just a basic company page and oh maybe 100 or so fans I'd guess. No notice, no nothing, but when I tried to log in to manage it and put up more images it was gone.
we've since rebuilt it, but since they'd done this once before, I dont spend too much time building it up.

It is a trademark page and I'm an employee of the company who owns the trademark.
I submitted two messages via their support system one for the "page unavailable" and one for "page disabled". I've no idea if people even monitor those mailboxes.
But like I say, I don't know if its a FB site issue or if our page has been disabled, very frustrating.

No it's not appearing the manage links, in my list of pages Im a fan of or in the search results.
I've also had other people on different ip addresses to try and access the page etc and they can't get to it either.

OK, in that case, it looks like it has gone, through fair means or foul. Methinks it's an error, from what you've described.
You may have to keep contacting FB to get that page recovered.

I agree, I'll keep chasing facebook.
The bummer is I've been working on a project to get "fan" badges added to all our properties and emails, now I'm worried that if something like this can happen is it actually worth the hassle.

Just an update on this, the page magically reappeared, so I havent lost my job :)
I still have no idea why it disappeared.
