I don't know if you've seen the FB bug help page. [facebook.com...] Oh, and yes, cookies can be a problem on the same machine.

Precisely, clear Facebook cookies - Or - whatever browser your wife likes to use on that machine, log in using a different browser (although the IP may nix that second choice.)

Thanks guys. How would you regain access to the business page? Is there a way to contact Facebook?

Who are the 'admins' of that page? They can add you as an admin, and then change their own status.

I'm the admin, I created the page. No one else is involved. I created it, logged in, changed a couple things, and logged out. When I tried to log in again, the page I logged into was an empty personal page which had my wife's name. The email address which was used to create the business page now goes to an empty personal page with my wife's name. There is obviously some kind of Facebook bug that caused this, and in the meantime my company has a business page on Facebook with no way for anyone to log into it. As strange as it sounds, this is all true.

Sorry but I must bump. Any way to contact Facebook whatsoever? I've got a business page with no way to log in.

Have you tried accessing the business page via your wifes login? If your wife is logged in and types the company name in the search box, do you get your business page and does she have admin access?

Bingo! fintancostello thank you. So do they require you to have a personal page in order to have a business page?

Glad it worked :) Your exactly right, a business or fan page is linked to a personal page. Your wife can make you an admin of the business page so you can manage it via your facebook account. If you go to "edit page" and down on the right hand side column is the "add" admins button, she can then just put in your username / email and invite you. Cheers Fintan
