Given that Facebook has been trying to inoculate against problems by sharing telegraphing the changes for the past few months, this shouldn't come as a big surprise to people who care. (It will anyway, of course.) AP reports that the users will be able to start testing the new look this week but it won't go widespread until next week. |

msg:3705125 | 7:56 am on Jul 23, 2008 (gmt 0) | My profile seems to have changed to the new layout, my misses has the old layout. Photos and videos are now bigger! They must store the original copies of the uploaded files. Some thought seems to have gone in to the functionality of the new layout, as you no longer get massive long pages, but I do prefer the general look of the old layout. The ads are a little lost over on the right - I think CTR will dramatically drop.
