What if instead, you create a php page to redirect the affiliate link, so now when a visitor hovers over the link, they now see you URL + keyword instead of that long string of java script code. Would this be good or bad cloaking?

| Sorry I can't answer that question, but you can use a database and php to create redirects reading, to the effect, yourdomain.com?id#. The database would have a corresponding id number for each redirected url. This is also possible in asp. Marshall Added - Another advatage to a database type redirect is you do not have to worry about people who have javascript off. [edited by: Marshall at 1:01 pm (utc) on Sep. 7, 2007]

| It's not cloaking at all.
