Am I doing Ok with my new blog?

Msg#: 4329955 posted 9:56 am on Jun 22, 2011 (gmt 0)

I am new to posting on this site but not overall, I have been ghosting it for a while and found some interesting stuff on here so keep up the good work ;-)

I am new to blogging but not IT as I am an IT networking consultant. I recently decided to create a knowledgebase website using wordpress about all these IT technical things i solve etc. At the moment it is as a hobby but I am hoping to make some money off it in the long run.
At the moment I AM NOT monetizing it, I am concentrating on getting traffic to the site. I know basic SEO and it seems to working quite well.

As this is ny first blog I have no idea as to whether it is progressing well or not. I have read lots of articles on the net about how to market it and I have starting putting some of these into practice. I regularly participate in several forums linking back to my site etc.

My stats:
Site age: about 3 months.
Site size: 2 Pages and about 10 articles
Hits a day ranges from 60-95 (recently getting above 80 all the time)

Now I am fully aware that in the grand scheme of things this amount of hits is small but what I am looking for is for feedback on how I am progressing.

For the size of the site and length of time running is this good, bad or average? Please, whatever advice you give at least andswer this question.
thanks in advance
