Australia's regulator has decided to investigate Facebook and Google over disruption to to publishers and consumers.
It'll be interesting to see if this actually goes anywhere. Not all of these investigations have turned out to be more than an annoyance to the new media businesses.

“We will examine whether platforms are exercising market power in commercial dealings to the detriment of consumers, media content creators and advertisers,” Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Chairman Rod Sims said in a statement.
