How do you get rid of the Apple App Ads that sit at the top of the mobile screen. It keeps prompting an App I have downloaded.

I've uninstalled , pressed the close "x" on the ad, which doesn't work. Finally out of frustration I cleared cookies and data.

Any thoughts, ideas, shared frustrations ? Have you experienced this?

Have you resolved the issue, or still having trouble?

Is this an AppStore App that is giving you trouble? Have you tried visiting the app developer's site? Have you tried restarting the phone, wiping history or clearing cache?

@aakk9999 - it looks like cookies, as when I cleared them, away it went. So it was not a setting to advantage Google - quite the contrary. [webmasterworld.com...]

@not2easy - thanks , I did. Not sure if the average user would know what to do in clearing cookies, and if it is Apple's intention to initiate this experience.

What do you think?

I can only guess that it was part of the app package that had been installed. If it was an app from the App Store, you can report it there. Good to know you figured it out.
