This is probably a stupid question to anyone who already knows the answer but it has me stuck on a project I need to be done with. I finally was able to get everything working exactly as I needed it to until I realized one terrible thing: No way Out! The file G6.html calls G6.swf and everything opens up perfectly. This is basically a book of photo albums. I can change from album 1 to album 6 or anything in between, I have volume control and control of picture display so I assume everything is working as it should. But I simply cannot find a way to add anything to the page showing the flash movie to allow the viewer to exit. Preferably up one directory to index.html, Home Page. the file that sets them there g6.html calls g6.swf ad all my efforts have been to add an exit button to the top of page by editing g6.html which could be the wrong file for this?
I would greatly appreciate it is someone could tell me how to do this, Maybe I am editing the wrong file?
ok :) sound easy. also sounds like Greek. Just kidding. The moviemaker is wondershare. It did a great job of producing what I needed. but in the included controls that show up on the movie page there is nothing that says exit. stop. Home. etc. I think this is g5.2. In the html access file I did try to add a few things and in one case I even tried to embed a full <a href.....> to another site but none of it is operational . Here is the beginning of the code where I lose control,
I hope that is enough to help. I have zero knowledge of flash and I cant believe I got trhis thing to work but now I cannot exit
anything appearing after this line is in the magic land of FLASH and follows its own rules apparently. I just need an exit button or a esc key that users can use to get back to the index.html and select a different choice
