Running CAS on Apache and LDAP on Zope

Hi I am trying to make authorization and authentication work on my company's Zenoss server but the CAS and LDAP are not communicating. I found out that you can run Zope(thing that runs the zenoss) behind Apache and you can put CAS on apache. I am pretty sure that LDAP needs to be on Zope because apache has no idea what kind of permission that user needs but I have no idea how this would work. Is this method possible? Thank you.

welcome to WebmasterWorld, bkoo004!

it's going to be difficult to find an answer here for such an unusual configuration.

i would assume you started here - mod_auth_cas - CAS Clients - Jasig Wiki:
http://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASC/mod_auth_cas [wiki.jasig.org]

and perhaps this has some configuration details you may ultimately need - LDAP - CAS User Manual - Jasig Wiki:
http://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/LDAP [wiki.jasig.org]

i can't help you at all with Zope, but perhaps this all-apache config can give you some clues - CAS authentication and LDAP authorization:
