msg:4507516 | 4:58 pm on Oct 12, 2012 (gmt 0) | I have some older domains which I no longer spend time with and am thinking about redirecting them to a single domain which I do spend time on. Keep in mind they have all been for the same niche and are keyword domain names. So, my question is... are there any negative effects of doing this? Basically I just want to consolidate multiple domains with the same niche/theme into one which I actually spend time on. Can a 301 actually negatively effect the main domain it would be going to? While this is general in terms of search engines I might as well say I am more concerned with Google with this one. Thanks for any information!
