Rewriting Parameter off a directory root
Looking for help rewriting/directing a parameter from a directory

Hey Guys,

Looking for a little mod_rewrite advice.

I am usually fine with redirecting parameters from files (say example.php?foo=bar) but I have a problem with a Magento plugin doing something slightly different.

It's kicking out urls like this

www.site.com/sub-folder/?foo=bar=

It's throwing me off for two reasons;
1) I usually use the example.php to base my rewrite and redirect around and am unsure how to handle it when this is a subfolder
2)Not sure why it ends with an additional =

My first attempt was to set a redirect base at /sub-folder/ and do it with root as the base of the redirect but this didn't seem to work, I also tried using my standard redirect-y code with using the subfolder instead of the static file (which looked wrong tbh) and this also didn't work.

Note an additional problem is that I have to do this from the index level htaccess and /sub-folder/ does not really exist either.

Can anyone offer a bit of advice or a link to something that will help solve this issue?
