Apache Web Server Forum

redirect 301
incorrect url to correct url

 2:05 pm on Mar 8, 2009 (gmt 0)

New to Apache so please bear with me.
I have been getting 404 errors caused by an incorrect website url for my site on a message board.

incorrect url is www.domain.co.uk/%22www.domain.co.uk
correct url is www.domain.co.uk

Can I use htaccess to redirect or correct this?
Thank you for your time.

Yes. It should be a very easy job.

First, decide whether you want to just fix this one rogue URL, or whether to also cater for any request with %22 within.

Thanks for your reply.
I just have this one rogue URL. Does anyone have the code I need to input to .htaccess to fix this please.
Thanks again.
