just got a note that there is being sent spam from my server
what can I do about this and where to look, Im no server nerd

I got a email from one that has be come a few spam emails from my server, I dont do any thing in email, newsletter...., but somehow he got a spam mail, what can i do about, not much help from support.

Such emails - notifying you of a server problem - may be the latest form of spam themselves. I just got one, reporting spam from "your server", and there's no way for that to actually happen. None.

Of course, this may just be a coincidence that I received the same type of email in the last few hours.

My guess: Now that you opened the email, IF it is spam itself, you will now find your inbox filled with offers of cheap colo, cheap servers, cheap . . .

It's the next viagra no doubt, now that they're arresting online pharmacy operatives again.

I dont think it was spam, because I got a reply after a few hours, where it said thank you for your effords

No feedback scripts which allow people to send you an email? Those can be used, if they're not carefully written, to send spam to people other than the intended recipient...

Also, you should probably request a sample copy of one of the spams with full headers so you can verify it came from your server.
