|Analytics bounce rate drop from 30% - 0.46% ?|
Want to find out why my website is showing an incorrect bounce rate figure.
I'm currently tracking four College sites in my Google Analytics account (all part of the same group).
Three out of the four sites have had an unexplained sudden drop in bounce rate - to below 0.5% (useally around 18%-30%).
Since this can't possibly be true, I'd like to find out what's causing it.
One of the websites which has encountered the sudden drop can be found at:
I'm not a developer and don't have access to log files, so I'm not sure if an additional plugin has been uploaded which is triggering Analytics twice per page?
However the strange thing is one site (out of the four) hasn't had the sudden bounce rate drop.
The URL for this site is:
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Is there anyway I can test myself?

I have faced this issue before. What I found that there were two GA tracking code in the script, as a result GA counted twice the traffic. Once the code was rectified, bounce rate was bcak to normal.
