How to use one analytics code on a network of websites?

I know that I can create one Analytics account, and add Filters for individual domains (http://domain1.com, [domain2.com,...] domain3.com etc). When I log in to Google Analytics I go to -> Admin, and -> +New Account. I need to enter a Website Name, Website URL, and Account Name. What URL should I use if this account is suppose to work with multiple domains and not just one. It would be probably best if I could leave it blank, but there is no way to do that. Or maybe there is a different way to set up a website network Google Analytics account?

Thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you are looking to aggregate the site visits across all your domains into one analytics account?

If so, you will need to make slight changes to the tracking code used in all your sites. There's a guide by Google here that is pretty comprehensive: [support.google.com...] All you need is to add a line of code to the tracking code of each site.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any issues implementing this!
