are those requests sending a HTTP Referer header? http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec15.html#sec15.1.3 | Clients SHOULD NOT include a Referer header field in a (non-secure) HTTP request if the referring page was transferred with a secure protocol. |

The in-page analytics gives data on which links on the page are clicked - as it is javascript tracking code, I'd assumed the data was collected before the client leaves the page. Not sure why the request sending a header would affect this data.
