Hi,

we have a section of the site we want to explicitly track. There is a page with links to quizes, so initially it looks pretty straight forward to create a custom variable for the quiz page being amended for each test section to track.

I can see that can work but how could we manage to effectively track if the user can either pause the test and exit the area, or just close the test and come back later - or come back and start another test revisiting the original one later.

We want a way in GA to be able to follow the history of that user through any test until conclusion, no matter how many times they stop and start it. I was thinking of using their login status but the login is site wide and not just this area.
