My server IP showing in visitor stats Pollos msg:4438561 8:29 pm on Apr 8, 2012 (gmt 0) Not sure if this is the right place but .. I use bbclone and have done for quite some time. When I looked today it showed my server IP hitting the site index over and over. IP = My servers Page = main index Visit Length = 678 h 19 m 15 s Reloads = 8062 My site is hosted on a 1&1 Linux VPS and has been for a number of years, I've also used bbclone for longer but never seen anything like this before. I've looked at cron jobs but apart from Plesks normal setup I don't have any running that would account for this. Does this need looking into, anyone any idea whats happening?

You can check the webserver scripts. If one opens a remote connection to your domain it will show an entry in the server log. Another possibility if server configuration is setup with an environment to translate and log every request including local connections which they may happen. Since you're saying this started recently check if the host did some updates or check the scripts you recently added.
