| Many timeouts in log files

Over the last few weeks my traffic is 3 times as much as normal, but i am noticing in my log files many many ASP_0113|Script_timed_out errors and these are a combo of bot/users.
Im not sure what foot to move forward, im on a shared platform and i have the option to use load balancing with my host? should i look into this? would this solve/part solve the issues?
