Can Googla Analytics differentiate visit via agent server? same visitor but different IP NoahSEO msg:4191758 3:47 am on Aug 25, 2010 (gmt 0) Hi, everyone, Imagine the following scenario: A visitor makes one visit to my site, and an hour later, visit my site again but through an agent server which locate in different place and of course have different IP address. How Googla analytics record this kind of visits? 1) record as 2 visits and 2 absolute visitors 2) record as 2 visits but 1 absolute visitor What do you think?

Short answer is 1. This is 2 visits and 2 unique visitors. Everytime a user used new IP or clears its cookies a fresh visitor is counted. NoahSEO msg:4191840 8:51 am on Aug 25, 2010 (gmt 0)
Thanks AnkitMaheshwari the thing is, I set a "Filter" for my site aim to exclude the traffic from within our company. And I simply filter out the IP address of our company. When I compare the filtered profile to the original profile, I found some external traffic been filtered. Does this sounds strange to you? now i wonder why this happened.
