GA show only one traffic source for Goals and E-commerce
Securent shopping cart - all goals and transaction tracking not working

Msg#: 4148274 posted 6:01 pm on Jun 7, 2010 (gmt 0)

I'm using SecureNet as a third party shopping cart with WP site.

I have analytics with eCommerce and goals on the site.

SecureNet generates the analytics code with the eCommerce feature automatically. They're using the old syntax so I'm using it on my site too.

When I'm in the Analytics, I can see the correct transactions and eCommerce stats, the problem is that everything appears under one traffic source: mysite.com / referral

All of the goals and eCommerce transaction show only under this traffic source, and also all of the cart pages visits source appear under this traffic source.

I did some test orders from PPC and Organic, the visits are correct but the Goals and transactions appear under this traffic source for some reason.

I can't tell my ROI from PPC , SEO etc. The only thing I know is how much conversions I got from AdWords, but they don't give you the amount of products and the revenue.

I tried everything, including pulling my hairs out one by one, but still not working....

This is the code:

mysite.com analytics code:

<script type=”text/javascript”>
var gaJsHost = ((”https:” == document.location.protocol) ? “https://ssl.” : “http://www.”);
document.write(unescape(”%3Cscript src=’” + gaJsHost + “google-analytics.com/ga.js’ type=’text/javascript’%3E%3C/script%3E”));
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker(”UA-#*$!#*$!-1”);

securenet shpping cart pages analytics code:

<script type="text/javascript">
var gaJsHost=(("https:"==document.location.protocol)?"https://ssl." : "http://www.");
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
<script type="text/javascript">
var pageTracker=_gat._getTracker("UA-#*$!#*$!x-1");
pageTracker._setCookiePath("/[% MERCHANT_ID %]/")

pageTracker._trackPageview("/cart/[% PAGE %]/");

[?PAGE eq complete]
pageTracker._addTrans("[% ORDER_NUM %]","[% B_LNAME %], [% B_FNAME %]", "[% GRAND_TOTAL %]", "[% SALES_TAX %]", "[% SHIPPING_CHARGE %]", "[% B_CITY %]", "[% B_STATE %]", "[% B_COUNTRY %]");
[?ITEMS join=;]
pageTracker._addItem("[% ORDER_NUM %]", "[% ITEM_NUM %]", unescape("[% ITEM_NAME %]"), "", "[% ITEM_UNIT_PRICE %]", "[% ITEM_QTY %]")
[?PAGE eq cart ]
<script type="text/javascript" src="//checkout.google.com/files/digital/ga_post.js">
[/?PAGE ]
