So - I run an affiliate lead gen business and am able to place a pixel on the confirmation page of one of my main partners. BUT - not the Google AdWords pixel : (

Can I use something as simple as this?

</script>
<script language="PHP" src="http://---------/conversion.php">
</script>
<noscript>
<img height="1" width="1" border="0" src="http://----------/pagead/conversion/?somevalueshere"/>
</noscript>

And then a "conversion.php" script like:

<?php

$value = array();
$value['date'] = date('Y-m-d H:i:s');
$value['ip'] = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
$value['page'] = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
$value['from'] = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
$value['payout'] = $data['lead_payout'];
$value['lead_buyer'] = $data['lead_buyer'];
$db->insert($value, 'leads');

?>

I'm sort of a newbie to these pixels, and can handle PHP, but don't know any Javascript.

Joe
