Google Analytics & Yahoo Search Partners?
How can I see where my ads are showing?

 11:56 am on Nov 17, 2008 (gmt 0)

Does anyone know of a way to reveal which Yahoo search partner sites my ads are appearing on? I'm using Google Analytics and use query strings to track Yahoo clicks (?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=whatever).

Without the query string GA won't assign all Yahoo PPC traffic to Yahoo. With the query string, you can't see which domains the Yahoo ads are appearing on.

Can I set up a duplicate GA profile that will only capture Yahoo traffic but that will show which domains my ads are appearing on? If so, how?!

I dont believe you can set up multiple tracking accounts for one domain.

but you can try this link... not sure if it will help.

You can make a duplicate profile to include only the Yahoo traffic by following the instructions from Google at:
[google.com...] and then adding a filter to only include Yahoo traffic. In order to see which site the visitor actually came from, you'll want to glue the Referrer field to the Source using an Advanced Filter.
